User Content: Videos, text, photos, likes, and comments you upload or engage with.

Personalizing content delivery and feed algorithms.

4. Third-Party Services & Sub-processors

We use trusted third parties to run our infrastructure (e.g., Supabase for authentication and database management, AWS for hosting). These sub-processors are GDPR compliant and only process data under our strict instructions.

5. Cookies and Web Tracking

On our web application, we may use cookies or similar technologies for essential service operations, security, and usage analytics. You can manage your cookie preferences through the Web Consent Banner or your browser settings. If you do not accept, we still measure visits and actions anonymously, without cookies or identifiers and without keeping your IP address, to learn what works.

6. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures. Your personal data is retained only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

When you delete your account (Settings, then Delete account, or by email to hello@troven.world), you are signed out and the deletion is scheduled. For 30 days you can cancel it by signing back in. After 30 days we permanently delete your account and the data linked to it: your profile, your trips with their photos, videos and voice clips, your comments, likes and follows, and the usage analytics linked to your account. Copies can remain in our providers’ backups and caches for a limited time until they expire. The details are on how to delete your account.

7. Children

You must be at least 18 years old to have a Troven account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we delete it. New accounts are asked their year of birth once, to check this; we do not store the answer.
