A month in Guatemala

Guatemala in April and May 2026. We flew in from London and started with three days in Antigua: ruined churches and convents, La Merced, the Santa Catalina arch and the volcanoes framing every street. Then we headed to the highlands: a night festival with traditional dancers in La Esperanza, days in Quetzaltenango around the central park and the cathedral, tacos at Ay Chihuahua, a stay by the pool in Santa Cruz Muluá and the road back through Zunil. We flew home from Guatemala City.
